Sarah is a qualified Equine Shiatsu Practitioner.She has been practicing Equine Shiatsu for
since 2001.Sarah is A registered practitioner with the Equine Shiatsu Association
Sarah has been involved with horses since she was of 8 years old when she began riding. She
has owned her first horse Rhapsody since the age of twelve. Rhapsody is still going strongthanks to shiatsu at the age of 27 years. Sarah got involved in Shiatsu because Rhapsody’s fetlock joint became
very stiff with arthritisfrom an old injury. She was given a book by Pamela
Hannay Touching Horses and tried some of the techniques with remarkable results.
Wanting to do more for Rhapsody and other horses she
completed her studies in Equine Shiatsu. Along with consultations Sarah now holds regular workshops to enable other horse owners to experience the power of Shiatsu.
Sarah has a strong science and medical background having a HND in Medical Sciencefirstly working in Pathology specialising in Haematology and also working for the public health in Microbiology.
Sarah has always been
interested in complimentary therapies and started out as a Reflexologist where she held regular clinics at The Hereford County
Hospital Occupational Health Department. Sarah is also qualified in Indian Head massage and Reiki level 2.
